The Orlando CVB is happy to provide you with a free Orlando Vacation Planning Kit. Your planning kit includes the Official Visitors Guide with information on accommodations, attractions, restaurants, and much more. The kit will also contain the Orlando Magicard, which offers great savings on a variety of area attractions, accommodations, restaurants and shops.

What is the Magicard, and how can I obtain one?

Having a Magicard is like carrying a wallet full of coupons for participating area attractions, accommodations, restaurants, and shops. Use your Magicard brochure to check for participants, and present your card at the time of purchase to receive the specified offer. You can also visit orlandoinfo.com/magicard for a printable copy of the Magicard and brochure.

May I purchase discount attraction tickets online?

Save time and money by purchasing tickets through our online ticket sales center at orlandoinfo.com/tickets.

If a tropical storm or hurricane is approaching the destination, how do I find out about weather-cancellation policies?

Contact the respective theme park, attraction, hotel or resort to find out about their individual policies. The destination’s Tropical Weather Guarantees also provide much of this information.

If I go to the Official Visitor Center to buy my tickets, can I get the prices that are quoted online?

Online ticket prices and ticket types differ from what is in stock at the Official Visitor Center. You will find the best prices by ordering in advance online.

Does the Orlando Magicard give me an additional discount on tickets I purchase from your Web site?

Ticket prices found online at orlandoinfo.com/tickets are already discounted. No further discounts apply to these rates.

Will using a coupon make my discount even greater?

Our tickets are already discounted, thus, we do not accept coupons of any type.

Do you deliver ticket orders to hotels?

Ticket orders are shipped to your home via Federal Express or may be picked-up at the Official Visitors Center. We do not provide hotel delivery service.

Where and how far away is the nearest beach?

Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach are the closest beaches to Orlando. Cocoa Beach is only 45 minutes east of Orlando, easily accessible by Toll Road 528. Daytona Beach is one hour northeast of Orlando, via Interstate 4 (I-4) East.

Where is the Kennedy Space Center, and how do I get there?

The Kennedy Space Center is approximately an hour's drive east of Orlando, easily accessible via Toll Road 528. Although there is no public transportation available from Orlando, there are several private shuttle companies that provide transportation to and from Kennedy Space Center.

What are the busiest times of the year in Orlando?

Generally, our busiest times of the year are during Spring Break, Easter, Thanksgiving, and the December holidays.

Do most businesses in Orlando accept traveler's checks and credit cards?

Traveler's checks in U.S. Dollars and major credit cards are widely accepted at most Orlando businesses.

Does the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau offer military discounts?

The Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau does not offer military discounts; however, you may contact the theme parks individually to inquire. Shades of Green, located on Disney property, offers military discounts for Disney. A military identification card is required.
